// top ten tuesday: books in my fall tbr

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the fabulous people from Broke and the Bookish. This week's topic are the ten books I'm looking forward to read in this beautiful season of Fall: 




1. The Rose Society by Marie Lu

I can't wait to pick up where Marie Lu ended The Rose Society and to be with Adelina as she battles with her inner good and evil and her thirst for power. 

2. Illuminae by Amy Kaufman & Jay Kristoff

If you read my blog, you'd know that this is one of my "Waiting on Wednesday" books. I heard this book is huge, it has 608 pages and I can't wait to devour it.

3. Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman

A book set in my home state in America? Sign me up. She's actually doing a signing in Phoenix and I'm getting my family to get my book signed by her. Yay! It'll also be my first western YA novel so I can't wait.

4. Walk On Earth A Stranger by Rae Carson

From the reviews, I've read this book has a really badass protagonist and full of action packed scenes so I'll feel like there will never be a dull moment in reading this. She'll also be with Erin in the Vengeance Road signing so I'll have a signed copy too.

5. The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkoski

Thank you so much, Katrina of Bloomsbury for giving me this book! I cant wait to read the story of Kestrel and Arin.

6. The Winner's Crime by Marie Rutkoski

I was given by Bloomsbury a finished copy so massive thank you!


7. Wolf by Wolf by Ryan Graudin

Victoria Aveyard said so many good things about this book so I can't wait to read it. According to Goodreads, this is a historical YA book and since I love History, I am looking forward to it.

8. Signs Point to Yes by Sandy Hall

I've never read any books by Sandy Hall but the cover is gorgeous and apparently the author writes some serious funny books so I'm giving it a try.

9. Trutchwitch by Susan Dennard

I can't believe after so many months of trying, UK Tor is finally getting me proofs of one of the most anticipated reads of 2016 so you could imagine the screaming and arm flailing involved.

10. Hothouse Flower by Krista & Becca Ritchie

I never got to finish this amazing book because of schedule so hopefully I find the time as I am very keen to finishing the series.

    TRUTHWITCH!!!! Flails! I'm thinking that I won't be able to get a copy until release date. But that's ok! So many of your books I am excited to read!

    I just watched Jesse The Reader talk about Illuminai and I AM SO EXCITED! He opened it up and showed the various images and unique style of writing, and then he slipped off the cover and showed us how cool it was ;asldfjlsdjf I am much pumped to read that book

    AHHHH SUCH A GREAT LIST!!!!! I am so so so psyched for The Rose Society, Vengeance Road, and Wolf by Wolf!! Illuminae was phenomenal so I hope you enjoy!!!! AND TRUTHWITCH OMG THAT IS MY #1 ANTICIPATED RELEASE OF 2016!!!!!!!!!! HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!!

    That's a good list! The top 4 on your list are all books I have yet to read as well! The Winner's Curse and The Winner's Crime are excellent, I can't wait for the final book! And Wolf by Wolf is amazing!!! AND YOURE SO LUCKY THAT YOU GET TO READ TRUTHWITCH! I'm green with envy! :)

      we should discuss the books after we get the chance to read them cyra! im on winner's curse right now and im so nervous omfg. but doesn't the last book not come out till 2016? *sighs* i know i read your review on wolf and wolf and its the one that actually made mer really excited heh. MY COPY OF TRUTHWITCH STILL HASNT ARRIVE YET BUT NOW I CANT WAIT OMFG

      I am so down for discussing books. That would be my favorite thing ever. And you should definitely be nervous reading those books! Nervous and frustrated were my two most common feelings during that series. And yeah, the last one comes out, I think in maybe March? It makes me SO happy that my review is the one that made you excited for Wolf by Wolf!!!!

    I LOVE The Winner's Curse and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Illuminae!!! I also just got access to Truthwitch and I am SO excited because of all the hype and the fantasy and the magic! I also know some people who already read the Rose Society and they liked it! I haven't even gotten to The Young Elites yet... oops. :)

      how did you find the winner's crime? im reading it right now and its making me so nervous. congrats on getting access to twuthwitch as well :) hooray for us eep! i know the hype on truthwitch is surreal omg. i know me too! they won't tell me what happened in the rose society tho lol. i guess ill just have to wait for a few more days x

    I LOVE THE WINNER'S TRILOGY! or the first two books, so far. i can't wait for you to read it because it's one of my favorites! kestrel and arin <333
    i'm jealous beyond words that you managed to get a copy of TRUTHWITCH! gah, i heard all the great things and i can't wait to pick that one up when it's released.
    i love this list and there are so many amazing books coming out so soon!

    Isha boo I didn't know you read New Adult! I've been wanting to read the sisters for sooo long, I actually have Amour Amour and Addicted To You, but I haven't found time to read them yet! Hothouse Flower has some amazing reviews on goodreads, so I'm looking forward to picking it up. Girl ILLUMINAE IS THE SHIT! Like, this book is hands down, one of the best books I've ever read. So fucking emotionally driven yo. OMGGG. Wolf by Wolf, Walk On Earth A Stranger, and Vengeance Road are books I want to read this fall as well. I have The Winner's Curse and Crime, but I haven't even read them yet, as with Rose Society. I need to read The Young Elites like asap!

      oh my god tika! i love na omFG well i don't really read a lot of them just the addicted series, calloway sisters and colleen hoover books but they're my faves. YOU NEED TO READ THE TWINS' BOOK ASAP BC FLAWED CHARACTERS AND AMAZING PLOT. oh my god stop now im real excited for illuminae ah. wait what you have the rose society? you never told me oH MY GOD. IVE BEEN TRYING TO GET AN ARC OF THAT IN AGES. but oh well the book comes out in a few days so ill just wait impatiently lol. you need to read the you elites and the winner's curse and crime asap.

    Wow, I want to read like... half of the books on this list! I literally haven't ready any of them. I think my top two from your list are Illuminae and Walk on Earth a Stranger. Great list ladies!

      the rose society is out now but im still waiting for yallfest because i want a signed copy lol. but i am getting illuminae soon (the publisher is sending me a finished copy) and im so excited yay. i cant wait to read it <333
